TaxConnex is seeking a Sales Channel Coordinator to develop new relationships with potential channel partners, enhance relationships with existing channel partners, and to provide sales support.  The specific activities include the following:

  • Identify new channel partners and schedule initial phone calls or meetings
  • Develop a communication plan to keep channel partners informed and to keep TaxConnex top of mind
  • Manage and execute channel partner strategies and programs
  • Develop and implement annual client satisfaction surveys
  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings on behalf of TaxConnex partners
  • Support the proposal and contracting process as necessary


Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree, 2-5 years of experience in selling, sales tax, or channel management.  Selling products and services to CPA or law firms is a bonus.

Pay and Benefits:  Pay is commensurate with level of experience and includes salary + bonus.  Benefits include paid time off and a flexible work schedule.  No health insurance benefits are provided.

Sales & Use Tax Practitioners

Established and successful firm, TaxConnex, is seeking experienced and skilled tax & accounting professionals to serve as an outsourced sales tax department for companies throughout the United States.  TaxConnex provides sales tax outsourcing, sales tax consulting and audit management services to businesses of all sizes using a unique “practitioner” model.

Practitioners maintain flexible hours in the comfort of their home leveraging the skills and professional designations that they worked hard to obtain and wish to maintain. Practitioners can choose their workload – some choose to work full-time while others choose to work a part-time schedule.

TaxConnex is seeking Sales & Use Tax Practitioners (Independent Contractors) who will provide our clients with the highest level of customer service and professionalism in the sales and use tax outsourcing market. Practitioners will provide sales and use tax services on a monthly basis for clients of TaxConnex.  Activities performed by Practitioner will include proactive communication with Client, timely response to Client’s specific sales and use tax questions and requests, the monthly translation and import of client sales and use tax data, application of eligible credits, standard and customized report preparation, review of reports, preparation of a monthly cash request, communication to TaxConnex of cash due from Client, timely transmittal of accurately prepared sales and use tax returns to TaxConnex and jurisdictions in accordance with the Client tax calendar, reconciliation of Client’s GL, and satisfactory resolution of all sales and use tax related matters (audits, notices, customer inquiries…) on behalf of Client.  Additional services may be contracted by Client and will be communicated by TaxConnex to Practitioner.  Practitioner shall fulfill any other duties reasonably requested by TaxConnex and agreed to by Practitioner.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Master’s Degree in Business Administration. CPA, CMI, or 7+ years S&U Tax Compliance Experience. *Sales tax experience is not necessary as TaxConnex will train the desired Practitioner and provide tax technical support.

Pay: Practitioners are required to sign a Practitioner Agreement with TaxConnex that, among other things, establishes the revenue share for each client that Practitioner serves. Specifically, the client is contracted to TaxConnex for a certain scope and fee; and Practitioner receives a portion of this fee according to their Practitioner Agreement.

Insurance:  Practitioner will carry liability insurance, including errors & omissions and malpractice insurance, at a level reasonably required by TaxConnex, relative to any service that Practitioner performs for TaxConnex.  Practitioner must produce evidence of required insurance prior to beginning any engagement for TaxConnex, and at reasonable intervals as requested by TaxConnex.

Office Equipment and Software:  Practitioner shall have a suitable office arrangement and equipment to begin serving clients on behalf of TaxConnex, including as follows:

  • High speed internet connection
  • Active office or cellular telephone
  • Laptop with minimum i5 processor, 6GB RAM, 320GB Hard Drive
  • Software including Windows 7 or Windows 8 Professional and MS Office 2010; MS Access 2010 may be required
  • Printer, scanner, FAX machine
  • Daily computer back-up of all folders, files and data related to Company clients and activities
