Position Summary:

Are you interested in how Sales and Use Tax works across the U.S.? We are looking for people that share our interest to solve the complexities of sales tax for our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and quickly growing Sales and Use Tax company in Alpharetta, Georgia! We are currently hiring for a staff accountant/treasury specialist. This is an entry level job that will provide the right candidate significant training and insight to a high volume accounting function. The role is a combination of Treasury Services (payment processing for tax return remittances) and Accounting (bookkeeping).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Manage aspects of the general ledger
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Execute month end close process
• Manage annual 1099 reporting and forms

Internal Audit (SOC)

• Assist with managing and monitoring internal controls and audit activities

Process Documentation and Support

• Maintain Treasury procedures
• Provide input for process and system improvements
• Respond to Treasury support requests

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Intermediate level skills with Excel
• Intermediate level skills with Adobe (PDF Creator / Form Creator)
• Experience working with high volume data in a flat file format (.csv, .txt)
